I loved art class from grades 1-12, drew on family photos as a toddler and painted my own posters with dayglo paints to decorate my room. After graduating from The Art Institute Of Pittsburgh in 1979, I worked at many ad agencies and studios in Cleveland and (Chicago: 2 yrs). Eventually, I became disenchanted with the birth of desktop publishing/computer graphics, deadlines and people being overly concerned with printed materials like junk-mail and ads in trade publications. In May 1995, I graduated from CSU as an occupational therapist and in September 1995 became a parent. I was inspired to rekindle my art skills when my daughter attended The Cleveland Institute of Art in 2013. Luckily, I read about the Tremont Portrait artists in the Plain Dealer and decided to visit the Literary Cafe. Portrait artists that I love most are: Sargent, Rembrandt, Vermeer, Degas, Van Gogh, Saville, Wiley and the Cleveland Pretentious Portrait artists.
