An early Prismacolor pencil portrait drawn at The Literary Cafe.

After graduating with an Illustration degree from Carnegie Mellon I’ve had a career as a graphic artist —16 years as first an illustrator then designer for Penton Media, Inc., and over twent years as a freelance designer/illustrator — while also pursuing fine art through a longtime membership in The Murray Hill Life Drawing Group in Little Italy’s Schoolhouse galleries as well as The Pretentious Cleveland Portrait Artists’ Friday night sessions. I’m very appreciative for the opportunity to practice with such a supportive group.
